WrestleMania 40 will emanate within ten days from now and WWE is reportedly working to make it a one-of-a-kind affair by securing some massive names in surprising capacities. This aspect of the show is keeping fans on their toes.
According to the reports of PWInsider, WWE is working on having Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold Steve Austin on board for WrestleMania 40 as these two are considered to be the biggest stars in professional wrestling history.

There's no update yet on which capacity they'd appear at the Show of Shows but WWE isn't likely announcing their appearance before the event. Previously, these two legends shared the ring together in the opening segment of WrestleMania 30 in 2014.
Steve Austin last appeared at WrestleMania 38 in his home state of Dallas, where he wrestled a surprise match against Kevin Owens in the main event of Night One after staying out of action for almost two decades.
Given that the 57-year-old star is in great shape, speculations are on regarding another match featuring him. But he's been tight-lipped about that and only stated "never say never" when the topic was raised in recent interviews.
On the flip side, Hogan almost regularly made WrestleMania appearances mostly appearing in promo segments to hype up the crowd in or outside the ring. But as of this writing, he or Austin hadn't agreed to take part in this year's event.
It's supposed that they could be appearing in some kind of surprising role just like last year's WrestleMania which featured the surprise return of Shane McMahon for a match against The Miz after a hiatus of more than a year.
Unfortunately, Shane quickly tore his ACL minutes into the planned match with The Miz. This led to WrestleMania 39 host Snoop Dogg delivering a People's Elbow to Miz and securing a pin-fall win instead.
Speaking of legends appearing at WrestleMania 40, reports are already out that there have been discussions of using The Undertaker and John Cena on the show in non-wrestling roles as well but nothing has been confirmed in this regard.
