WrestleMania 40: WWE intentionally hints at surprise appearances at PLE
WrestleMania 40 would be the first full-fledged edition in its chronology to be hosted under no influence of Vince McMahon. It will just be Triple H and his creative team to be in charge of things alongside TKO officials.
Triple H assumed control of WWE's main roster creative in 2022, and since then he has subtly dropped hints of upcoming plans through background shots on TV. It was done again on this week's Raw suggesting big things to be in store for WrestleMania 40.

Reports have previously indicated that WrestleMania 40 would be nothing short of a grand affair with some of the most iconic names in professional wrestling such as Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Undertaker, and John Cena in attendance.
During the latest episode of Raw, the eagle-eyed viewers noticed production trucks with WrestleMania wraps featuring images of Austin, Cena, Charlotte Flair, Jey Uso, World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, United States Champion Logan Paul, and others.
In an update to the instance, WrestleVotes reports that the inclusion of these trucks on TV broadcasts was no coincidence and this report further fueled the speculation that the company does have significant plans involving legendary names at WrestleMania 40.
While anything is yet to be confirmed, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter hinted at the likelihood of these iconic figures making an appearance in some capacity at the event set for next weekend at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
"Cena is free but depending on what acting stuff he has and how quick after he's filming would determine how much he can or can't do for insurance reasons. Austin and Undertaker would be based on willingness that they have."
During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Cena teased an appearance at WrestleMania 40. The Undertaker will be in Philadelphia to host the 1 deadMan Show scheduled for Thursday, April 4 at The Fillmore.
