WWE Universe has long been waiting to see John Cena capture his next world title gold and thereby break Ric Flair's record of 16 title reigns, a scenario that could become a reality at WrestleMania 41.
Given The Cenation Leader will be on a retirement tour, possibly starting from next year's January, WrestleMania 41 will be the last time that he will perform at the Grandest Stage of them All.

This essentially makes us believe a match-to-be-remembered should be in store for him on the Show of Shows that has become synonymous with The Franchise Player over the years as he main-evented it on six occasions.
An update from WWFOldSchool now reports that WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H wants to run the storyline of John Cena chasing his record 17th World Title upon his return on TV once Raw moves to Netflix, next year.
The storyline should see him challenging Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship in one of the main events (most likely Night One) of WrestleMania 41. There's no update on how the angle will be set up on Raw.
No confirmed update is there if Cena will be able to break Ric Flair's record or not by defeating Gunther at 'Mania but Triple H doesn't want to miss this opportunity now that Cena's final span as a WWE in-ring performer approaches closer.
WrestleMania 41 will also mark the 20th anniversary of Cena's first World Championship win which came at WrestleMania 21 in Hollywood in 2005 where he defeated JBL to win the WWE Championship in the co-main event.
Almost two decades later, the Greatest of All Time will be on his final run with the WWE as announced by him during an appearance at the 2024 Money in the Bank premium live event, this July.
In recent interviews, Cena further confirmed that he'd exactly be working around 36 dates in the WWE in this retirement tour and once his final match is done with the company he'll be "at peace" with hanging up his boots.
