WrestleMania 41: WWE Wants Major Match At PLE Involving Two Boxers

Touted to be the biggest premium live event of the year across two nights, WWE is hell-bent on presenting WrestleMania 41 with grandeur like never before especially now they’re guaranteed to receive increased global viewers following Raw’s shift to Netflix.

Starting in early January, the Road to WrestleMania 41 season will fully unfold on the largest OTT platform where we expect to see renowned professional wrestling personalities and beyond to be a part of it.

Just a week ago, Mike Tyson headlined a returning bout against Jake Paul on Netflix. Despite coming up short, Tyson has the will to feature in forthcoming bouts and WWE wants to utilize this opportunity by hiring him back.

After losing his returning fight against Jake on November 15 by unanimous decision, Tyson joked about potentially fighting Logan Paul, next. In response, the current WWE Superstar responded loudly, claiming he would “kill” Tyson in a fight.

In an update, WrestleVotes reveals that WWE is interested in making Logan Paul vs. Mike Tyson a reality at WrestleMania 41: “I was able to get a source to confirm that there’s interest. I don’t know anything other than that.”

Jake vs. Tyson was watched in 60 million households on Netflix and WWE wants to capitalize on the buzz as they will soon be headlining the OTT platform. WrestleVotes added that WWE also wants Jake in some capacity for a PLE in 2025.

Jake has previously appeared on WWE programming but his shares have since risen especially now that he’s picked up the biggest win of his boxing career against the former Undisputed Heavyweight Champion Mike Tyson who’s also a WWE Hall of Famer as part of the Celebrity Wing.

As for Logan Paul, he has stayed out of WWE television since one last appearance at SummerSlam where he was defeated by LA Knight for the United States Title. But the current speculation is that he’d be needed in a major WrestleMania 41 matchup.

Scheduled for April 19 and 20, 2025, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, WrestleMania 41 would be the biggest spectacle in professional wrestling. John Cena is the only confirmed name on the PLE to have his final match on this stage.
