WrestleMania 42 Dates & Venue: The Rock on Friday (February 21) night announced the Showcase of Immortals - WM 2026 will take place at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana on April 11 and 12 next year.
This will mark the third WrestleMania event at the Caesars Superdome, which previous staged the show of shows in 2014 (WrestleMania 30) and in 2018 (WrestleMania 34). The legendary Rock made the announcement during his rare appearance on WWE SmackDown in New Orleans.

On February 21st SmackDown at the Smoothie King Center, The Rock arrived to a new theme song. "The Final Boss" mashed up Lousiana native Lil Wayne's "The Block Is Hot" and started off with his iconic catchphrase, "Finally ..." while the crowd completed "The Rock' has come back to New Orleans."
However, The Rock had a twist as he completed the phrase with "Finally, WrestleMania is coming back to New Orleans!" leading to the crowd erupt in applause and "holy s-t" chants.
There were reports that The Rock would make the next WrestleMania location reveal when he was suddenly announced to make an appearance on Friday's SmackDown. Social media was full of buzz and speculation on what could be the reason behind the legend's appearance.
The future WWE Hall of Famer cleared all the doubts by announcing the WrestleMania 2026 venue first, but did not give away much with regards to his involvement at the big premium live event next year.
The WWE Legend, however, called out WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes for a confusing segment, in which he labelled Rhodes a "great champion" and wanted him to become "his champion."
Rhodes like many in the audience expressed confusion about his sentiment. Then, Rock eventually said he wants Rhodes' "soul" and gave him a deadline of March 1st - Elimination Chamber - to decide, indicating that he will be in attendance for the upcoming PLE.
While The Rock did not indicate participation in the WrestleMania 42, there is every chance he could be part of the headliner of the show as the previous WM outings in New Orleans have pitted big situations, including Brock Lesnar ending The Undertaker's long-standing WrestleMania winning streak
