WrestleMania Main Eventer Reportedly Coming Back In WWE With A New Character

With THE MAN gimmick, Becky Lynch turned out to be one of the first three women superstars in WWE history to have main-evented WrestleMania to elevate her stock to the moon, distinguishing her status from her contemporaries.

The top star power of the WWE has long been absent from the weekly shows of the company but the latest reports suggest that her return to TV is imminent and that will happen with a new character.

Becky Lynch was spotted at the WWE - Netflix promotional event that took place at the global streaming giant's headquarters in Los Angeles, California, earlier this week which essentially suggested that she's back onboard with the company ending her free agent status.

According to a new report by PWNexus, the former WWE women's champion is currently planning her next creative steps in the WWE as she's looking forward to debuting a new character upon her TV comeback.

It was further added that Becky Lynch might be moving away from "The Man" gimmick, keeping the tradition intact of evolving her character to avoid any sort of staleness. No specific update is there regarding her upcoming character, as of this writing.

There's also no update available regarding the exact return time-table of the multi-time champion in the WWE but previous reports have claimed that she should be back within Monday Night Raw's premiere episode on Netflix on January 6, 2025.

It was on the May 27 episode of Raw that Becky Lynch was last seen on WWE TV. She lost to Liv Morgan in a steel cage match in the main event segment in a rematch for the Women's World Championship from King & Queen of the Ring.

Subsequent reports affirmed that Big Time Becks' contract with the WWE was over on June 1. Now that she attended the Netflix event in LA, she should be on the verge of re-signing with the WWE if not a deal is already finalized.
