Top WWE Superstar Alexa Bliss appears on The Masked Singer after Skin Cancer Situation

Bengaluru, March 23: One of the most popular WWE Superstars from the women's division, Alexa Bliss was removed from WWE television after a cryptic angle with Bray Wyatt-Uncle Howdy at WWE Royal Rumble premium live event on January 28, 2023.

WWE never officially provided an update regarding the sudden hiatus. This made her global fanbase concerned especially at a time when WrestleMania season was in full force on WWE programme for the Hollywood edition.

Negative updates about her health could have also been found on social media for some time. However, Alexa Bliss is doing okay as she made the latest TV appearance on The Masked Singer.

The former Raw Women's Champion was revealed as a contestant in the top-secret singing competition and WWE also posted several tweets to promote the appearance on this unique competition.

Before this, Little Miss Bliss also indicated the reason behind her current absence from WWE television. Responding to a tweet from a fan, she revealed of having a type of skin cancer that mostly happen on areas of skin exposed to the sun including the face.

The five-time former women's champion had a biopsy performed on her body and go through a short procedure to get the issue fixed as per the below statement.

"There was a spot on my face yes- that had gotten worse. So went to get biopsy. Was basal cell carcinoma. During my procedure doc also found other squamous cells. Was a quick and easy procedure. Glad I always get my skin checked."

As mentioned above, Alexa Bliss was last seen on WWE TV at the 2023 Royal Rumble PLE where she came up short against Bianca Belair over the Raw Women's Championship.

After the match, Uncle Howdy appeared on the screen and asked an upset Alexa if she was 'in charge' of her mind. According to PWInsider, this was a storyline angle to set up her break from WWE after the January PLE.

The Twisted Goddess hasn't been backstage at WWE events since her loss to Belair. Since WWE was prior informed about the hiatus, she was never scheduled to be part of weekend live events or the February PLE, Elimination Chamber 2023 in Canada.

With no creative plan intact for Bliss, she was originally expected to return in time for WrestleMania 39 to re-form her alliance with Bray Wyatt. However, Wyatt himself is uncertain to attend the Show of Shows due to personal reasons.
