Bengaluru, November 22: WWE came up with an announcement on their official website about this year’s Tribute to the Troops event. This will mark the 15th anniversary of the show dedicated to the USA Armed Force who serve tirelessly for the country in different regions around the globe. WWE conducts a special show with the soldiers and their families as guests on the special night.

This year, the show will be conducted at the San Diego Naval Base in San Diego, California. The show will be pre-recorded one which means it will be taped one week prior to the official airing on the USA Network.

“WWE announced that the 15th annual WWE Tribute to the Troops event will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 5, at Naval Base San Diego with a two-hour special airing Thursday, Dec. 14, at 8/7 C on USA Network.”

“While in San Diego, WWE Superstars will spend time giving back to military personnel and their families. Activities include a Be a STAR bullying prevention rally, as well as hospital visits and military outreach initiatives at various installations, including Naval Base San Diego, Naval Air Station North Island and San Diego Naval Medical Center.”

Generally, the biggest pro-wrestling promotion of the world celebrates the WWE week on the USA Network during the Tribute to the Troops week. This year, it wont be anything different as WWE Raw will be hosted on December 11th at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.

It will be followed up with the WWE Smackdown Live at the US Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio the very next day. Just one day later, the patriotic show will be aired on the USA Network on December 14th. In addition, there will be the Clash of Champions PPV on December 17th a Smackdown-exclusive PPV on the WWE Network. So, the fans will get to witness non-stop WWE action for the entire week.



The Tribute to the Troops is considered to be the most patriotic show of the year where the Militants enjoy a free show and get to meet numerous WWE Superstars. The tradition of this event started back in 2003. WWE Chairman Vince McMahon thanked the soldiers for their services and let his gratitude known to them when he arranged the show at Naval Base San Diego.
