WWE announce Elimination Chamber qualifying match for Roman Reigns

Bengaluru, February 4: Last week on WWE Raw, Roman Reigns lost the Intercontinental Championship match against The Miz. It was a rematch for the title which was contractually obligated after dropping the title on WWE Raw 25th anniversary on January 22nd.

Since then, he has lost all momentum after losing two consecutive title matches and he also ended up short during the Royal Rumble match despite being in the final two spots.

So, after last week’s match, the commentators doubted what would be in-store for the man who claims the flagship show to be his yard. However, it was a clever idea to take him out of contention for the mid-card title picture so that he can compete for the prime title on WWE Raw. The latest announcement also hints the same.

The main event of the next episode of WWE Raw has been announced and the franchise player of the company was inserted into it. Roman Reigns will fight it against Bray Wyatt in a huge matchup. It is going to be the next qualifier for the Elimination Chamber match set to take place on February 25th. Six participants will be competing in it to become the number one contender for Brock Lesnar’s Universal title at Wrestlemania 34.

Already three participants have been confirmed for this match to be hosted inside the demonic steel structure. Elias, Braun Strowman, and John Cena won their respective qualifiers to head to the Chamber match, last week. So, this is going to be the fourth match where one of the most-bitter rivalries will be renewed. Check out the updates from WWE.com,

“There are three slots left in the match, and WWE.com can now confirm that Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt will clash one-on-one on Raw for the right to enter the structure, where WrestleMania glory will be on the line.

Live on Raw, Roman Reigns battles Bray Wyatt for the right to enter the Men’s Elimination Chamber Match, with the winner of that grueling contest going on to battle Universal Champion Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania.”

Technically, Roman Reigns is the hot favorite to come up as the victorious one in this match. He is also the favorite to win the 2018 Elimination Chamber match in order to confirm the main event of Wrestlemania 34, as well against Brock Lesnar too where the beast incarnate will be dethroned from his championship reign, finally.
