Bengaluru, December 8: With no PPV events on the horizon, WWE Raw is quite determined to keep the show ratings intact with some intense rivalries.
As part of the creative planning, we learned about three huge matches scheduled for the upcoming edition of the show that will emanate from the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.
The news first broke via the Twitter handle of WWE where host Cathy Kelly talks about the potential bouts which was later confirmed on WWE.com. The interesting part of the series of matches is that each member of the Shield will be involved in these matches.
As per the announcement, the three matches will be Roman Reigns vs. Cesaro, Dean Ambrose vs. Samoa Joe and Seth Rollins vs. Sheamus. The second matchup mentioned will be a first-time bout on WWE TV making it a must watch. The other two will be a renewal of rivalries in one-off matches.
In case you don’t know, we already had two matches announced for the December 11th edition of WWE Raw where Kane is scheduled to feature in the main event of the night against Braun Strowman. These two will square off in a marquee match to determine the only dominant monster present on the show.
Also, there will be a number one contender match for the Cruiserweight championship from the 205 Live division with the winner getting a title opportunity against Enzo Amore. With that being said, here are the match card for the next edition of WWE Raw,
Braun Strowman Vs Kane
Roman Reigns Vs Cesaro
Dean Ambrose Vs Samoa Joe
Seth Rollins Vs Sheamus
Rich Swann Vs Drew Gulak (No. 1 Contender’s Match for the Cruiserweight Championship)
Samoa Joe is hell-bent on destroying Roman Reigns and take away his Intercontinental title for a while now and to make the momentum change in his favor, he will try to put away the Lunatic Fringe to send a statement to the title-holder. Roman, on the other hand, is expected to deliver in an earth-shattering contest against the strong Cesaro.
