Bengaluru, November 23: On the past edition of Smackdown Live we witnessed the fallouts from the Survivor Series PPV and with the brand Vs brand rivalry done and dusted, we shift focus to show-specific rivalries now that the Clash of Champions PPV has been confirmed.

One of the segments on the show featured a confrontation between Jinder Mahal and AJ Styles. These two have been in a feud for the past couple of months for the WWE Championship. The title changed hands during the Manchester edition of Smackdown Live.

On that night, AJ Styles dethroned Jinder Mahal from the 169-day championship reign. The Modern-day Maharaja demanded a rematch at the upcoming PPV which was accepted by the phenomenal one. To add to AJ's worries, The Singh Brothers soon ambushed the champion.

AJ Styles fought back valiantly to put them out of the ring and was also able to hit a Styles Clash on Samir Singh to make a huge statement. This set up a big match for next week’s Smackdown Live.

It will be a two-on-one handicap match with the WWE Champion taking on the Singh Brothers with Jinder Mahal also expected to be at his protégés corner to interfere in the match.

Also, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn had two segments on this week’s Smackdown Live where they had a fallout with Shane McMahon that led to the main event match of the night against The New Day.

Somehow, Sami Zayn pulled off the victory via roll-up against the former tag team champs but he was trapped after the match wher he received a beatdown from his opponents while his partner, Kevin Owens escaped to the backstage area.

Owens pleaded Daniel Bryan not to fire him and his best friend from the show. The GM had not intended to do that at all, instead, he announced a matchup between Owens and Randy Orton for next week.

This will be the first-time ever matchup between the pair on the show as the fans will definitely love it. This match is also believed to be the main event on next episode of Smackdown Live.
