Bengaluru, March 8: In recent times, WWE has been dealing with a lot of controversial incidents and now the officials of the company might have a bigger headache to deal with after the newest member of the WWE Raw announce team was accused of sexual harassment.

Jonathan Coachman, the member of WWE Raw commentary team is the one who has landed in trouble by virtue of this controversial incident. Former ESPN anchor and legal analyst Adrienne Lawrence filed a lawsuit against him for the behaviour while he was working as a sports journalist in ESPN.

The New York Post was the first to break the news that has now become viral in the pro-wrestling universe. The source stated that the lawsuit was filed for sexual harassment and discrimination against ESPN. The incidents happened in the year 2015. The main accusation is that the company did not take any step for the harassment that Adrienne suffered.

SportsCenter anchor John Buccigross is the one who was charged, mainly, in this case. Alongside him, many other journalists from ESPN suffered the same consequences including Jonathon Coachman. Check out updates about this from wrestlingINC.com,

“The suit alleges that Coachman employed the "ESPN predators' playbook," in which Lawrence reached out to her on the pretense of mentorship but tried turning the relationship personal. Lawrence says she was advised by colleagues that Coachman sexually harassed female employees at ESPN, including now-former SportsCenter anchor Sara Walsh.”

The lawsuit states that Jonathon Coachman wanted to build a romantic relationship with Adrienne despite her having a boyfriend. Apparently, both Buccigross and Coachman sent her inappropriate photos while they used to work in ESPN. Besides this, false rumours were also spread in their work place. Check out a portion of the lawsuit,

"After learning that, Ms. Lawrence made an effort to communicate to Coachman that she had a boyfriend, after which she did not hear from him again. Coachman had sent Walsh inappropriate photos of himself and text messages, falsely telling her colleagues that they were romantically involved and that she "wanted" him – another common practice of men at ESPN."

With that being said, the status of The Coach in WWE is put in jeopardy now and he came back to the company only in January this year. If the accusations turn out to be true then he will have to leave, as early as possible. WWE does not tolerate this kind of sensitive matter, at all. Hence, they released a statement on this,

“We take these matters very seriously and are investigating.”
