WWE Backlash 2023: Match card, Date, Start Time in India, TV Channel and Live Streaming Info

Bengaluru, May 3: Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown present the WWE Backlash 2023 premium live event (PLE) this weekend - the first PLE since WrestleMania 39, which took place in April.

The 18th edition of the Backlash PLE will be the first WWE event held in Puerto Rico since New Year's Revolution in January 2005, and the second Backlash event held outside the continental USA since the 2004 event, which was held in Edmonton, Canada.

The PLE will feature three title matches and four fights based on rivalries in the respective blue and red brands. Apart from the SmackDown Women's title and the Raw Women's title, the US title will also be on the line in a triple-threat match.

SmackDown Women's Champion Rhea Ripley defends against Zelina Vega, while Raw Women's Champ Bianca Belair defends against Iyo Sky, who will be accompanied to the ring by her allies from Damage CTRL - Bayley and Dakota Kai.

In the US championship matchup, Austin Theory puts the title on the line against Bobby Lashley and Bronson Reed. Plus, Seth Rollins meets a monster in Omos in a singles match.

The event will be headlined by a one-on-one match bewteen Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes, while Puerto Rico's own Bad Bunny will face Judgement Day's Damian Priest in a San Juan Street Fight.

Also on the card, a rivalry is set to continue as the Bloodline featuring Solo Sikoa, The Usos - Jey and Jimmy face Matt Riddle and the undisputed tag team champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in a non-title six-man tag team match.

The event is set to take place on Saturday (May 6) at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico. However, due to time difference, the event will take place on Sunday (May 7) morning in India.
