A fatal-4 way clash with the title up for grabs and another one-on-one matchup were added to the card of WWE Backlash 2025 premium live event (PLE), which is set to go down at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri on Saturday (May 10).
After what transpired on SmackDown in Des Moines, Iowa last night, Jacob Fatu is set for his first title defence when he defends his United States Championship against LA Knight, Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre at WWE Backlash.

Several Superstars have vied for an opportunity to challenge The Samoan Werewolf, starting with Damian Priest, who caused a disqualification in LA Knight's No. 1 Contenders' Match against Drew McIntyre, while Solo Sikao cut short Priest and Knight's contenders clash on Friday night.
The continued chaos promoted SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis to set up a Fatal 4-Way Match for the United States Championship on May 10. Fatu will hope for support from Solo as he looks to fend off three other challengers.
In the other announced fight for Backlash, former World Heavyweight Champion Gunther will battle Raw commentator Pat McAfee after the recent heat between the two on the Monday Night show.
The Ring General snapped on the Raw After Mania and attacked Michael Cole, prompting McAfee to jump in and save his broadcast partner, only to incur the wrath of Gunther and be put to sleep.
Raw General Manager Adam Pearce suspended Gunther, but McAfee challenged Gunther to a match, which will be McAfee's first singles match since WrestleMania 39. McAfee will be hoping he did not make the wrong choice, having suffered an attack from Gunther in the past.
These two fights are in addition to the earlier announced title fights that will see John Cena defend his Undisputed WWE title against long time rival Randy Orton, while a recent rivalry pits Becky Lynch for a title chance when she goes up against Women's Intercontinental champ Lyra Valkyria.
