Bengaluru, August 19: Till date, there were immense speculations about The Miz and The Hardy Boyz' Summerslam status. All of them are marquee players from the flagship brand of Raw. But, due to lack of creative planning and injuries, they are supposedly lost from the biggest event of the summer.

The fans can be assured for now since WWE has announced a huge six-man tag team match that will take place at the Summerslam kickoff show and feature each of these superstars. According to the confirmation, Matt and Jeff Hardy will team up with Jason Jordan to take on the team of The Miz and his entourage (Bo Dallas & Curtis Axel).

The news was first given by Cathy Kelly on the youtube channel of WWE who was promoting Summerslam from the New York City. Later, WWE.com confirmed it with the following statements:

"The spotlight on The Biggest Event of the Summer just got a bit brighter, as Cathy Kelley just announced in a WWE.com Exclusive video that The A-Lister and his Miztourage will battle The Hardy Boyz and Jason Jordan in an explosive Six-Man Tag Team Match as part of a special two-hour SummerSlam Kickoff."

The Miz was not happy with this decision as his prestigious title will not be on the line at the biggest event of the summer. The Hardyz was already fired up for this tag team melee as seen on Twitter.

Jeff & I were going to battle Revival at SS, but we DELETED them b4 SS.

Apart from this match, the kick-off show will feature not one but two championship matches. The Smackdown tag team title match with The New Day defending against The Usos has been removed from the main show. It is quite unfortunate that these two veteran teams will not get the opportunity to perform at the actual show.

Plus, the Cruiserweight Championship's fate will also be decided on the kick-off show when Akira Tozawa defends the newly won title against the former champion, Neville.
