WWE: Big Update on Paige's much-anticipated return

Bengaluru, August 30: In earlier reports about Paige, we were able to receive some positive news on her. After months of speculations on her status, she appeared in an interview with Busted Open Radio to declare that she intends to return to the WWE once medically cleared to compete again.
For the last several months, she has been involved in serious misconducts that kept her in the headlines but also put WWE's status in jeopardy. A couple of suspensions, compromising pictures leaked on social media were part of the controversies she fell a victim to.
The domestic violence allegation against the former Divas Champion was the latest addition to it that was not supposed to let her make a comeback abruptly. However, she declared that she will be undergoing a final CT scan on August 7th upon which she hopes to be free from her neck problems.
These were her comments:
"I just had my CT scan today and I get to do my last check up on Monday. Hopefully, I'll be back sooner rather than later, but I don't know at this point. I can't wait to get back to work."
In case you didn't know, she suffered a serious neck surgery in October 2016 that had ruled her out of in-ring action. Even though its been close to month to the aforementioned date, Paige has not provided an update on her CT scan results.
Wrestling journalist, John McKenna from Pro-wrestling sheet gave an interesting information on his Twitter handle earlier that said that the scheduled scan never took place. It is expected to take place by this week where we expect to see her cleared. The reports are expected to come out at the beginning of next month.
It is also to be noted that if the doctors allow her to compete in the squared circle then she can make a return to either Raw or Smackdown. So, fans can definitely hope to see her in the WWE by the end of next month.
But, the decision to bring Paige back completely lies in the hands of WWE. The company has never given an update whether they are interested to bring back the controversial superstar to the roster.
It's no secret that she is not on good terms with the WWE officials after going through so much turmoil since June 2016. So, there won't be any surprises if we don't see her return to the WWE. The only thing that might help her will be the upcoming movie based on her life. We have no other option to wait before we know what's her future with the WWE.
