Bengaluru, February 16: In the build up to Wrestlemania 34, WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar is scheduled to appear in a number of live event matches.
The Conqueror has recently been added to a number of live event matches that will happen en route to the Wrestlemania season. As reported earlier, on March 3, he will defend his WWE Universal Championship against Kane in Chicago. Six days after that, Lesnar will feature in another huge match-up.
In this match on March 9, Brock Lesnar will take on The Miz. This is going to be a Champion vs Champion contest from the WWE Raw brand. Quite interestingly, this is going to be the first time that these two will meet inside the ring for an actual match.
According to GiveMeSport.com, "The Beast's WWE schedule is expected to pick up leading up to WrestleMania, as he is also booked to face Kane at the United Center in Chicago on March 3, and he will also have a triple threat match against Strowman and Kane the following week at Madison Square Garden in New York on March 16. At the last Raw live event before WrestleMania 34 on March 30 at the TD Garden in Boston, Lesnar is also scheduled to be in action."
Considering this is going to be the Wrestlemania season, Brock Lesnar is certainly going to be used in the fullest way possible. Plus, his contract may expire after Wrestlemania, which is why he will have to remain quite busy performing in live events as these might turn out to be his final dates in the company.
Before all that, Lesnar will resurface after his hiatus at the end of the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view next Sunday (February 25). The Elimination Chamber PPV will determine Brock Lesnar's challenger at the Wrestlemania.
The Beast Incarnate will then address his opponent in the WWE Raw episode following the Elimination Chamber, on February 26.
Lesnar recently defended his Universal Championship in a triple-threat match at the Royal Rumble PPV. Lesnar, the Universal Champion since the 2017 Wrestlemania, is the longest reigning Universal Champion. He has been holding on to the title for more than 300 days.
