WWE: Brock Lesnar forced Vince McMahon to let Goldberg win

Brock Lesnar himself wanted to drop the image of the reckless force that he is known for and wanted to pass it out to Goldberg.

Bengaluru, Nov 24: WWE pulled off the trigger on the returning Goldberg by letting him go in a squash match against none other than Brock Lesnar.

The social media was filled up with their opinion of why WWE let down Lesnar's effort that he built for the last 4 years.

Most of the fans said that Goldberg was not worthy enough to be the winner in just 84 seconds at Survivor Series.

While the buzzing is still continuing, you will be shocked to hear the news that none other than Brock Lesnar was behind this unusual booking.

The beast himself wanted to drop the image of the reckless force that he is known for and wanted to pass it out to Goldberg. He was the one who convinced Vince McMahon to go with such an inconvenient script.

Dave Meltzer reported it on the Wrestling Observer Radio saying that apparently the decision was taken to portray Goldberg with a relentless force that will be unleashed in near future.

The decision was also made due to the fact that Goldberg did not get enough time to get into the shape to go toe-to-toe with Lesnar.

He signed the deal with WWE just before his return on Monday Night Raw, last month. The physicality of the match would not let him stick around Lesnar in a lengthy match.

As Lesnar and Goldberg are real life friends, Lesnar requested Vince to arrange the match as a squash one.

It was nothing to do with the shoulder injury that he suffered on last week's Raw while fighting it out with the security team.

The result of the match is also allowing Goldberg to go directly to a title shot. As we have learned on Raw, Goldberg has already been booked for Royal Rumble PPV at Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

The advertisement of the Myth appearing at the 30th annual event will hype up the event bigger than ever. WWE will be benefitted from it since they have to sell out a record crowd of more than 65000.
