WWE Clash of Champions PPV 2017 results with video highlights

The future of Smackdown Live was at stake on last night's Clash of Champions event which was the last PPV of the year 2017 hosted by the Smackdown brand.

Bengaluru, December 18: The future of Smackdown Live was at stake on last night's Clash of Champions event which was the last PPV of the year 2017 hosted by the Smackdown brand.

Two main events were in store for the night alongside all the titles on the line in the show took place at the TD Gardens in Boston, Massachusetts.

Here are the results,

Mojo Rawley Vs Zack Ryder

This personal rivalry was settled in the kick-off show match where two former buddies squared off. Rawley got a new theme song and finishing maneuver to continue his singles run. It was a straight punch to the mouth to Ryder to pick up the win against Ryder.


Dolph Ziggler Vs Bobby Roode Vs Baron Corbin (Triple Threat Match for WWE United States Title)

It was an entertaining triple threat match to kick-off the main PPV show. Ziggler went for an early Fammeser whereas Corbin delivered a Deep Six for a near fall. In the end, Corbin's End of Days were countered by a zig-zag from Ziggler for the pinfall. He became the new United States Champion.


Rusev & Aiden English Vs The New Day Vs Shelton Benjamin & Chad Gable Vs The Usos (Fatal 4 Way Match for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles)

Aiden English got into the head of the crowd with his melody for the early part of the match. The Boston crowd wanted them to pick up the titles. But, The Usos retained their momentum by countering Gable and Benjamin's offenses with double superkick following with the Uso Splash to retain their championship.


The Bludgeon Brothers Vs Breezango

The Bludgeon Brothers were dominant in this match from the offset. Tyler Breeze's offenses were cut short quickly as Rowan and Harper connected with a double chokeslam for the win. After the match, the winners cut a strong promo to the locker room.


Natalya Vs Charlotte Flair (Lumberjack Match for SmackDown Women's Title)

The Lumberjacks involved in this match which teased Carmella cashing in MITB briefcase. But, she was rejected to do that by the Riott Squad. Later, the team were involved in a brawl with the Welcoming Committee. Charlotte took all of them down with a jump off the top rope and locked in the Figure-eight to pick up the win.


AJ Styles Vs Jinder Mahal (WWE Championship Match)

This was a mind-blowing contest between the two bitter rivals. Styles was able to connect with the phenomenal forearm but Singh Brothers pulled him off the ring. Then, Mahal hit the Khallas but Styles kicked out of that. Mahal went for the Styles Clash but it was reversed by the champion to a Calf Crusher. Styles retained his title as Mahal tapped out.


Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens Vs Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura. (Special Guest Referees, Shane McMahon & Daniel Bryan)

As expected earlier, Daniel Bryan turned out to the deciding factor in this contest. Shane was angry with Bryan after Owens pushed him during the match. So, he tried to screw the heel duo by not counting three during a pinfall. Bryan was not happy with this and made a fast three count while Zayn rolled up Orton for the pinfall win.
