Bengaluru, March 22: Another huge match awaits Randy Orton at the biggest event of WWE and it will be his 14th consecutive appearance at the event. This man is a living pro-wrestling legend and is set to get another Wrestlemania moment this year, wher he will be heading into the show as a Grand Slam Champion.

At the Fastlane PPV event, Randy Orton won the United States Championship to earn the accolade. So, a title defense is must for him at the showcase of immortals. As per the announcement made by the WWE's official website, it will happen in a triple threat match in New Orleans.

Bobby Roode and Jinder Mahal are the two opponents for him as confirmed on WWE.com,

“Randy Orton hit his Grand Slam, and now Bobby Roode and Jinder Mahal are looking to make the steal. The Apex Predator will defend his hard-won United States Championship at WrestleMania against both the Superstar he took it from and the Superstar who’s been waiting in the wings for months.

Tune in to WrestleMania 34 to see who emerges as U.S. Champion on Sunday, April 8, streaming live on the award-winning WWE Network at a special start time of 7 ET/4 PT."

Meanwhile, Randy Orton will have to deal with these two in a huge match announced for next week on Smackdown. He will have to team up with Bobby Roode to take one against Jinder Mahal and Sunil Singh. It will be interesting to see how this match will turn out to be as these three will be gunning for the United States title at Wrestlemania.

The altercations from the past episode of Smackdown Live set up this tag team match. The Viper noted that Jinder Mahal is nothing without Sunil Singh by his side. He would never be the champion, as well without his help. So, he went on to attack Sunil with the help of Roode to lay him down.

So, for the first time in a long time, one half of the Singh Brothers will be seen in action. He usually works in a valet role for the Modern-day Maharaja. But, next week, he will be seen competing in a match by teaming up with his mentor.

There's no doubt that this storyline angle for the United States title has been a solid one on Smackdown Live. With this match coming up, the stakes will be even higher for these top class athletes. This, in turn, would help to make the Road to Wrestlemania even more interesting for the blue brand.
