The 2024 edition of WWE Draft began on the latest episode of SmackDown from the Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati, Ohio with four rounds of selection procedure via appearances of WWE Legends.
On television, 16 picks went down on the show (eight for SmackDown and eight for Raw). As announced earlier, SmackDown got to have the first overall selection on the inaugural night while Raw will have the advantage this coming Monday night.

No champions from the WWE roster were eligible for the Draft process as they remained on the current brand. WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Asuka and Kairi Sane were on the draft pool and they will appear on both the brands until they drop their titles.
At the very beginning of the Draft, it was announced that Roman Reigns had "voluntarily withdrawn" from the shakeup. The Wiseman Paul Heyman further informed that his Tribal Chief won't be returning in the immediate future.
The WWE Draft saw four sets of announcements with a pair announcing selections for each segment: Triple H and Cody Rhodes; Michelle McCool and Torrie Wilson; The Dudley Boyz - Bubba Ray Dudley and D-Von Dudley & Teddy Long and JBL.
With the roster being divided into two draft pools, different wrestlers were eligible to be selected on night one and two while names from NXT were also listed to be picked. Here's the full set of selections that were made on SmackDown:
