As confirmed on the post-Wrestlemania 40 edition of Raw, the WWE Draft 2024 edition will be held over two nights starting tonight instead of the beginning of May which was claimed in earlier reports.
The shakeup process begins on the April 26 episode of SmackDown and ends on the April 29 episode of Raw. CM Punk has already been announced to be in attendance on both these nights. Now, some special guests have also been teased for appearance.

The commencing night of the 2024 Draft will take place at the Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, with WWE Hall of Famers John Bradshaw Layfield (JBL), Teddy Long, and Alundra Blayze (Madusa) confirmed to be in attendance, as reported by PWInsider.
Additionally, two more former WWE Divas were also reported to be present on the show by Ringside News in the form of Torrie Wilson and Michelle McCool. No update was provided on what their role would be in particular.
On tonight's episode of SmackDown, a confirmed array of superstars are eligible for selection, including some of the top names like Roman Reigns, AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Seth Rollins, and stars from NXT like Bron Breakker.
As the Draft continues on Raw, another set of of eligible superstars, names like Braun Strowman, Drew McIntyre, Finn Balor, Kevin Owens, Bobby Lashley, The New Day, and NXT standouts such as Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, and Imperium are eligible for selection.
While there's no confirmed update, we can expect some of the NXT residents like Ilja Dragunov, Roxanne Perez or Lyra Valkyria to be brought onto the main roster. Someone like Baron Corbin might also re-enter Raw or SmackDown.
Anticipation is high for the potential surprises that the WWE Draft 2024 will bring to both SmackDown and Raw. The revamped rosters will go into effect from the May 6 episode of Raw onward.
