WWE Elimination Chamber 2025: The Rock & Tag Team Match Featuring Trish Stratus Added to Chamber in Toronto

WWE Elimination Chamber 2025 card was further populated during SmackDown at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, where the legend The Rock announced that he will be present at Chamber in Toronto, which takes place on March 1, 2025.

On the February 21 edition of SmackDown, The Rock called Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes to the ring to acknowledge how much they had become friends since their conflict at last year's WrestleMania.

In one of the confusing promos, The Rock informed The American Nightmare that he wanted him to become "his champion" and give him his soul. And wanted an answer when he appears at WWE Elimination Chamber, confirming his involvement.

Cody Rhodes is not involved in any fight on the night, but will know who will challenge him for the title when six man battle inside the Elimination Chamber to earn a main event spot at WrestleMania 41.

As announced earlier, John Cena will battle the likes of CM Punk, Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre, Damian Priest and Seth Rollins in what is dubbed as the most stacked men's Chamber match to decide the challenger to Rhodes' WWE title at the show of shows.

Similarly, a women's Chamber match involving Liv Morgan, Bayley, Roxanne Perez, Bianca Belair, Naomi and Alexa Bliss will decide which female superstar will challenge Rhea Ripley for the Women's World Championship at the Showcase of Immortals in April.

Apart from The Rock's appearance, a women's tag team match featuring hall of famer Trish Stratus was also added to the Chamber in Toronto card during this week's WWE programming. Trish will team up with WWE Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton to take on Nia Jax and Candice LeRae in Stratus' hometown of Toronto.

Jax and Stratton have been at odds since The Center of the Universe betrayed The Irresistible Force by cashing in her Money in the Bank contract and defeating her to win the title last month.

Before returning at this year's Royal Rumble Match, Stratus had not competed since losing to Becky Lynch in a Steel Cage Match at WWE Payback 2023. Now, she partners Stratton, who will need to have a gameplan as she heads into her WrestleMania title defense against 2025 Royal Rumble Winner Charlotte Flair.

Apart from the aforementioned fights, Sami Zayn will go to war with best friend turned bitter enemy Kevin Owens in a match unsanctioned by WWE management after the two grew bad blood since Royal Rumble. Here is a look at the updated card for Elimination Chamber:
