Here is the match card for WWE Fastlane with predictions
SmackDown Tag Team Title Match
The New Day vs. The Usos
Prediction: This is a repetitive contest which is why the fans might not be that interested in this. However, there’s no denying that each time these two teams lock horns, they deliver the best match of the night. This time around, it is no exception, either. The champions will retain their belts but we expect the Bludgeon Brothers to make their presence felt in this match to set up a Wrestlemania contest against the reigning champs.
Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Rusev
Prediction: This is a filler contest for the Fastlane event which was added at the very last moment. No storyline was available for this contest. But, the fans would be delighted to chant 'Rusev Day’ throughout the match. There’s no way that Nakamura would lose as he will be the main eventer of Wrestlemania. A victory is a must for him despite valiant efforts from The Bulgarian Brute.
Women’s Division Tag Team Match
Becky Lynch and Naomi vs. Natalya and Carmella
Prediction: This one too, came as a filler match on the card. The attractions should be less for this one. No fallouts are expected from this contest. However, it is good to see Carmella getting back on live TV. It is almost certain that the babyfaces would pick up the win since they are likely to be gunning for a title shot with Wrestlemania coming along.
WWE United States Title Match
Randy Orton vs. Bobby Roode
Prediction: This is a fresh matchup on the Smackdown Live brand which the fans would look forward to. The Viper would be getting his shot at the United States Championship, after a long time. It is expected that Jinder Mahal would interfere in this contest to make the difference. By virtue of this, the title-holder should retain and then set up a triple threat title match at Wrestlemania.
SmackDown Women's Title Match
Ruby Riott vs. Charlotte Flair
Prediction: The Riott Squad has been on a roll ever since debuting on Smackdown Live. Ruby Riott, rightly deserves a championship shot against the Queen of the company. This should be a good match between these two at the Fastlane PPV. In the end, the title-holder will retain he belt over the challenger. There’s no way that a championship change will happen as Charlotte is expected to walk into the grandest stage as the champion.
Six-Pack Challenge for the WWE Title
John Cena vs. Sami Zayn vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Kevin Owens vs. Baron Corbin vs. AJ Styles
Prediction: This will be an exciting main event for the WWE fans at the Fastlane PPV event. The addition of John Cena into the mix made things even more interesting. He could perform over the limit to win the championship to cement his spot as the main-eventer at Wrestlemania. However, there’s no way that the dream match between AJ Styles and Nakamura will be ruined. Hence, the Phenomenal One will overcome all the odds put against him and walk out of Columbus as the WWE Champion.
