WWE Friday Night Smackdown preview and schedule: February 10, 2023

Bengaluru, February 10: The crack in The Bloodline is now open and chances are strong that it should be widened on WWE Smackdown given they have to defend a title in the main event capacity despite not being on the same page.

That's not the only match in championship capacity as a massive fatal-4-way is also set to determine the new challenger for GUNTHER's Intercontinental Title when the February 10 episode of Friday Night Smackdown airs from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.

Here's what would be in store for the latest Smackdown on FOX edition:

The Bloodline saga continues with a championship defense

After daring to smack Roman Reigns in the back with a steel chair, Sami Zayn stormed in on the undisputed world champion with another vicious attack during the final moments of last week's SmackDown.

Paul Heyman's help wasn't enough as Sami downed Reigns with his own Spear maneuver and thereby made his demand clear that he was coming after the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

The Bloodline's Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa then responded with a counter-assault allowing The Head of Table to recuperate and promise that he'd finish his the ex Honorary Uce at WWE Elimination Chamber in front of his family and friends.

The Usos

In the meantime, there's no trace of Jey Uso of The Bloodline. He walked out of the beatdown segment of Sami Zayn at the Royal Rumble event on January 28 and since then no one, not even his twin brother Jimmy Uso could reach him via phone.

Whether Jey returns this week or not, he is slated to put his Smackdown Tag Team Titles on the line alongside Jimmy Uso against Braun Strowman and Ricochet. In Jey's absence. Jimmy has to go solo which keeps the title reign in jeopardy.

Strowman and Ricochet defeated Imperium in the finals of the Tag Title contender's tournament, two weeks ago to earn a shot at The Usos for the blue brand tag titles. Given their current momentums, it makes sense to have them as new champions on Smackdown.

Fatal-4-Way for number one contenders spot

Fatal-4-Way contender's match for Intercontinental Title

GUNTHER is the longest-reigning Intercontinental Champion in WWE of this past decade who last defeated an ex-Universal Champion Braun Strowman on the January 13 episode of Smackdown with authority to retain.

Moving on, it's time for the strong mid-card champion to receive his next challenger. To determine the same, WWE has confirmed a Fatal-4-Way Number-One Contender's Match where individual rivalries will also come into play.

Rey Mysterio, Madcap Moss, Karrion Kross, and Santos Escobar will battle in this match for an Intercontinental Championship opportunity that could possibly be announced for the Elimination Chamber premium live event in about a week.
