Jey Uso’s shocking homecoming to The Bloodline
Following his comeback, Roman Reigns made it clear that he was not going to tolerate Jey Uso's absence from his side. The undisputed champion made it clear that if Jimmy can't talk sense back to Jey, then unfortunate consequences would be waiting.
On Raw, Jey Uso emerged through the crowd to stand on the announce table and watch Sami Zayn pick up a quick pin-fall win over Jimmy. After the match, Jey turned away from him and embraced Zayn.
Just when the fans were settling in, thinking of this new alliance, Jey proved his loyalty to The Bloodline by superkick-ing Zayn. A massive 3-on-1 onslaught attack thereafter followed on Zayn until Cody Rhodes ran in.
Shredding Zayn from their side and receiving a fresh Jey Uso on their side, The Bloodline has certainly boosted their confidence. That being said, the undisputed tag champs alongside Solo Sikoa are likely to appear on Smackdown as a unit to declare their next step.
Fatal 5-Way Intercontinental Championship Qualifying Match
GUNTHER has been an unstoppable force as the reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion ever since he won the title from Ricochet on the June 10, 2022, episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
The Ring General wasn't happy over the fact that he still doesn't have an opponent, heading into WrestleMania 39. To meet his pledge, WWE has declared a multi-person match that should confirm yet another match at the Show of Shows.
As per WWE's confirmation, Kofi Kingston, LA Knight, Karrion Kross, Drew McIntyre, and Sheamus will battle in a fatal-5-way match which is being promoted as the Intercontinental Championship qualifying contest.
The match was set up as a result of a brawl featuring these superstars over the next IC title shot. Now, the winner of the fatal-5-way will become the next opponent for the Intercontinental Championship, to possibly challenge GUNTHER at WrestleMania.
Braun Strowman & Ricochet vs. The Viking Raiders
The explosive tandem of Braun Strowman and Ricochet has long been trying to gain some momentum in their corner. Despite their combined efforts, they came up short in a tag match against Imperium, a few weeks ago.
This week, the babyface team gets one more chance to prove their potential as a team when they take on a bonafide tag team The Viking Raider - Erik and Ivar in a traditional tag match.
The Vikings are irate after coming up short in the feud against Sheamus and McIntyre, a few weeks ago. Hence, the question is if Ricochet and Strowman can withstand The Raid when Smackdown presents the latest edition on FOX.
