This week’s Smackdown continued the turmoil for The Bloodline where Jey Uso made his timely return to defend the blue brand tag titles with brother Jimmy against Braun Strowman and Ricochet.
Ronda Rousey made her return to join her best friend to beat up Natalya. Besides a Fatal-4-Way was there to determine the new challenger for GUNTHER’s Intercontinental Championship.
Check out the recap and results from the February 10 episode of Friday Night Smackdown that went down from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut:
# Paul Heyman kicked off SmackDown with the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship and talked about Roman Reigns’ two upcoming matches at Elimination Chamber and Wrestlemania 39.
Heyman informed the fans that Sami Zayn wasn’t there but Sami suddenly showed up behind him and began staring at the WrestleMania 39 sign.
Sami cut a terrific promo implying that The Bloodline is slowly crumbling and Roman’s days as the undisputed champion are numbered.
The finish of the match saw McIntyre levelling Top Dolla with the Claymore Kick while Sheamus delivered with the Brogue Kick for the pin to win.
After the match, The Viking Raiders appeared on the titantron and issued a challenge for a tag team match for next week against McIntyre and Sheamus.
# Jimmy Uso came out to defend the SmackDown Tag Team Championship, alone against Braun Strowman and Ricochet alone. Jey Uso suddenly made his way through the crowd to join Jimmy in the ring.
# The Usos (c) defeated Ricochet and Braun Strowman to retain the SmackDown Tag Team Championships. Jimmy was down after digesting a shooting star press from Ricochet.
But Jey already made a blind tag to Jimmy as he entered the ring and delivered a crossbody off the top rope on Ricochet to get the pinfall win.
Moss celebrated his win with his girlfriend Emma as the camera caught Paul Heyman backstage where he informed Usos to stay home, next week. Smackdown went off the air with Jimmy Uso having a surprised expression on his face.
