Bengaluru, Oct 16: We are much hyped up with the return of the Goldberg this upcoming episode of WWE Monday Night Raw where he will address the challenge issued by Paul Heyman.
The advocate general for the beast incarnate has started the feud from where they had left off. He said that Brock Lesnar still remembers the loss that he suffered at the hands of Goldberg and hence is willing to make it up.
So, with that being said and the reports that we are getting, it is evident that we are going to get the dream match at the Survivor Series PPV. But, this leads us to the contract that was signed by Goldberg with WWE.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer newsletter gave an update about the same by saying that WWE had some talks with him over the last few weeks.
The final deal was done only by last week. The contract that he signed stated that he will be competing in only one match that is going to happen at Survivor Series PPV.
However, the situation can be changed depending upon how the match is being planned and the final outcome.
The crowd's reaction is also a vital thing, here. Survivor Series will take place from Toronto, Canada where he was booed in the past.
During that time he ended the career of Bret “the hitman" Hart and the crowd showered him with a negative reaction. WWE is keeping this in mind before extending his contract.
Meltzer also pointed out the fact that WWE officials are not on the same page with Goldberg. He departed on a bad term with the company in 2004.
Even the fans knew that both he and Lesnar are going to depart the company after having their match at Wrestlemania 20. So they got booed out of the Madison Square Garden, that night.
So, apparently, it will be the crowd's reaction which will decide Goldberg's fate in the company. The man himself is willing to keep all the differences with the company since he wants to perform this time for his family and the fans. We have to wait how things turn out in the future.
