After experiencing a tumultuous summer with former husband Artem Chigvintsev, popular professional wrestler Nikki Bella has finally called it a quit in a legal way, leaving trails of tons of drama and accusations upon one another.

Originally, the former WWE Superstar, currently going by the name of Nikki Garcia was set to enter a trial with her Russian husband in court but they settled their divorce via mediation earlier this month, per the latest updates in the situation.

The news was first reported by TMZ without disclosing any terms of the agreement. Later, a spokesperson for Nikki also confirmed the info to E! News, last night citing the agreement could have come based on their child.

“Nikki’s No. 1 priority has always been her son and privacy on the matter. She is thankful for all of the love and support she has received during this difficult time,” the spokesperson relayed to E!

The Total Bellas star and the Dancing With the Stars pro, share a 4-year-old son named Matteo. Crack in their relationship started to grow after a tumultuous breakup following domestic violence that also caused the latter's arrest on August 29.

This happened over suspicion of felony domestic violence. But prosecutors later dropped the charge, with Artem expressing relief the following month, “I’m incredibly relieved and grateful this legal saga has come to an end.”

Moving on, Artem further sought spousal support while Nikki requested to block the court’s ability to award it. At one point, she even wanted sole custody of Matteo which the court had raised a dispute over.

The restraining orders the two had filed against each other have been dropped while they have now reportedly agreed to share the custody of their baby boy. As such, Artem was spotted quality time with Matteo, earlier this week.

Amid this divorce saga, Artem lost his regular role on Dancing with the Stars, especially after the arrest. With the charges dropped, he was however invited by an executive producer to be part of the studio audience on last week’s 500th episode.
