Bengaluru, Nov 11: WWE has brought James Ellsworth, a local wrestler from the Baltimore area to gift us some fun segment on Smackdown. He had his first match against AJ Styles and his popularity rose sky high, after that.

After defeating AJ Styles with the help of Dean Ambrose, he received a WWE World title match, a few weeks ago. Seeing his incredible popularity, WWE officials are thinking to offer this wonder man a full-time WWE contract. The man made himself even more famous by commenting, “Any man with two hands has a fighting chance."

We also have seen a t-shirt named after him goes on to sale at WWE.com. The response was overwhelming and quite surprisingly it was sold better than the returning Goldberg and the franchise from Raw, Roman Reigns.

So, it might be just a matter of time before Ellsworth gets a job on the blue brand on a full-time basis. He would be used mainly as a loved jobber role.

Ellsworth also revealed in an interview that he has received some valuable advice from the veteran, Chris Jericho which helped him a lot. He thanked Y2J for spending his precious time with him.

Meanwhile, a report from ring-side-news.com suggests that Ellsworth will be participating in the Royal Rumble match. He will be getting a spot at the big event from San Antonio, Texas on behalf of the blue brand. The idea of signing him to the main roster came after his merchandise made an incredible business which was just after Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens.

Ellsworth first came to the WWE by featuring in a match against Braun Strowman. Then he gained popularity after being paired with AJ Styles on Smackdown. He never had the match since The Miz attacked him from behind. After seeing his popularity that night, WWE brought him further to feature against the reigning champion, Styles. The plan has worked out, pretty well and Ellsworth might turn out to be a regular face on Smackdown.
