Bengaluru, February 1: WWE superstar Kane will be out for a couple of weeks after suffering multiple injuries during his Last Man Standing match against Braun Strowman in the latest episode of WWE Raw.
The Last Man Standing match, which serves as one of the qualifying matches for the Elimination Chamber, turned out to be the most chaotic one. Whoever wins the main event at the Elimination Chamber will get to challenge Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal title at Wrestlemania.
Considering anything is legal in this meeting between the two monsters, Braun Strowman perhaps went overboard. After putting down Kane with great ease, the Monster Among Men put Kane under the announcers' table and toppled the entire stage on Kane. The Big Red Machine was in no condition to stand up and the referee did not hesitate to hand Strowman the win.
Following the carnage, Kane was unable to get up and leave the arena. The medical team arrived to escort him out on a stretcher and take him to the local medical facility. The masked superstar visibly was hurt in what could be called one of the most brutal showdowns in Raw history.
WWE.com subsequently came out with an injury update, which stated: “The Big Red Machine had difficulty breathing following the incident and was rushed to a local medical facility. However, before Kane could be evaluated by medical personnel in the emergency room, he sat up on the examining table and crawled his way out of the medical facility. Kane has not been seen or heard from since.”
The veteran superstar was back on WWE Raw only last October. Throughout the stint, he had uncountable battles against the new resident monster of the WWE. Although this attack from Braun Strowman was showed as a legit one, it seemed to be arranged only to end Kane's current run.
Strowman's thrashing of Kane will rule out the legendary superstar for the upcoming Wrestlemania season.
