WWE: Kevin Owens Vs Brock Lesnar to happen next month

Bengaluru, Feb 4: Kevin Owens taking on Brock Lensar is one of the dream matches that the WWE universe is willing to see, for a long time. This is why it might be arranged, next month as a one-time only blockbuster match.

As reported by PWinsider.com, the WWE Universal Champion, Kevin Owens will take on the beast incarnate, Brock Lesnar at a WWE Live event in New York's Madison Square Garden (WWE MSG special) on March 13th.

This will be a house show as part of WWE's Wrestlemania tour. WWE usually intends to give their very best during the MSG special and this time it's no different.

It is still not stated that whether it will be contested for the WWE Universal championship since Owens holding the championship just days before Wrestlemania is not something likely. In fact, this matchup clearly indicates that Owens will be losing his championship in due course.

Whether contested for a championship or not, it's a mega match for all the WWE fans. Apart from this match, Randy Orton will take on Luke Harper who has supposedly separated himself from the Wyatt family in recent times.

Plus the MSG live will also witness a triple threat match for the intercontinental Championship among Dean Ambrose, The Miz, and Baron Corbin. Dolph Ziggler is scheduled to take on Apollo Crews, as well.

Quite interestingly, as appeared from the match card, the house show is supposed to be a Smackdown Live special where the main event will feature stars from Monday Night Raw.

We have reported it earlier that Lesnar will have this one-off appearance during this MSG live special against an unknown opponent.

WWE has not confirmed the match lineups, yet. But, with just one month remaining to it, it is likely that the confirmation will happen soon.

Also, the house shows are not televised. But, this time since two prize fighters will the main event in a dream match, we may get to see it as a WWE Network special.

Owens is yet to receive his next opponent to defend his title whereas Lesnar is scheduled to face Goldberg at Wrestlemania 33.
