WWE King & Queen of the Ring 2024: Favorites revealed from championship matches

WWE has brought back the nostalgia of the old-school King and the Ring tournament alongside the female iteration of it on their TV programming for the past few weeks which will now culminate in a premium live event, this weekend.

Originally planned for a return in 2023, King & Queen of the Ring PLE is finally coming back to Saudi Arabia with the finale of the two titular tournaments scheduled on the card. Multiple championship matches will also be there on the show.

As always, BetOnline has provided us with the ongoing betting odds from the marquee matches to indicate the possible winners. Going by these odds, it appears that it’s going to be yet another PLE without any title changes.

WWE Championship Match - The headliner match of WWE King & Queen of the Ring features Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes defending his belt against the challenger, the United States Champion, Logan Paul.

The odds are expectedly high in Rhodes’ favor at -2500, making Logan Paul the underdog with +800 odds. This makes sense as Rhodes is the prime face figure of the company and he might not drop the title until a big name like Roman Reigns returns.

Women’s World Championship Match - In this match, an old as well as a personal feud will run along as the champion Becky Lynch faces the challenger Liv Morgan. Lynch’s odds stand at -175, while Morgan is standing at +135.

As you can see, Lynch is the relatable favorite in the match but the odds are too close which still keeps the chance alive for Morgan to become a two-time women’s champion especially with her revenge tour getting stronger.

It should also be noted that Becky Lynch’s WWE contract will reportedly be over in about two weeks which could also be the reason that she might not hold the Women’s World Title beyond King & Queen of the Ring.

WWE Intercontinental Championship Triple Threat – The champion Sami Zayn is heading into the match as the favorite to retain his title with -250 odds with Chad Gable being the closest challenger with +175 odds. Bronson Reed has +1200 odds which wipes out his title win possibility.

The odds for the titular King and Queen of the Ring tournaments are yet to be out as the final match lineups aren’t confirmed. The two last bouts of the series are scheduled for this Friday’s SmackDown.
