WWE: Legendary tag team champions respond to The Miz’s proposal

Bengaluru, September 4: Last week on WWE Raw, a 15-man battle royal was announced by the Raw GM, Kurt Angle. It was after the champion made a number of complaints over not defending his title over the Summerslam weekend whereas he always claims to be a fighting champion who adds prestige to the title.

Now, Finn Balor was the favorite to come out victorious in the match. He was the one who dominated the contest for the better part of the match. However, Bray Wyatt cost him the match by eliminating him over the top rope. It was thought that their rivalry was over at Summerslam but they are in line to lock horns yet again.

So, as a result, we got an unexpected winner in the form of Jeff Hardy. The Hardyz were performing as a tag team till now and we had got no hint that the officials would split them to fight in singles contests. The Charismatic Enigma was the last man standing in the ring to become the challenger for the Intercontinental Championship.

The match was made official to take place in this week's main event of Raw. This is will be new for the fans since these two have not indulged in any kind of feud before. But, prior to the match, The Miz has started playing mind games with the legendary tag team.

In a message posted on Instagram, the Hollywood A-lister has invited Matt and Jeff Hardy to join his entourage. Currently, The Miz is having a strong backup behind him in the form of Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel named The Miztourage.

He wanted the Hardyz onboard, as well to make the faction stronger. Plus, The Miz also promised to give back the seven-time tag champs their glorious days from the Attitude Era. Hardyz did not take a long time to respond.

They gave a fitting reply to the gloating champion saying they don't want to join his team. Rather, Jeff is focused to take the IC title off The Miz and add value to the title. The message was filled with numerous 'broken' hints, as usual.

The feud over the IC title has just started and it is unlikely that we would see a title change tonight. While, this rivalry should continue till the No Mercy PPV and beyond.
