WWE making efforts to bring Brock Lesnar back on television

WWE has a packed schedule that will run through international locations in the coming months following WrestleMania 40. Inserting a marquee star like Brock Lesnar into plans for those events will essentially help them garner attention.

For the time being, WWE had no choice but to keep him off video games and creative plans for the Biggest Event of the Year following allegations against him in a lawsuit. But efforts are already on so that he could be hurried back on television.

The first move from WWE's side was noticed after Brock Lesnar made a surprising return to the active roster page on the company's website. This was a tease from the WWE that backstage planning is on so that the former WWE Champion can be used on TV.

According to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, recent developments hint at a potential return for Brock Lesnar to WWE. While nothing in particular was mentioned, Alvarez suggested that there have been "moves" to make the return happen.

"In the last few days, there have been moves regarding Brock Lesnar. If you listen to the show last night with Dave [Meltzer], everything we talked about is accurate other than the roster page. There are movements to bring him back."

Alvarez further discussed the topic and remained uncertain about Lesnar's actual return plans. Expressing sceptical thoughts regarding this topic, he mentioned that fans will have to wait and see what unfolds regarding the top star in the future.

"I'm not saying he's going to be back. I have no idea if he's going to be back. I wouldn't bring him back but I can tell you that there have been inquiries made and what that means, we will wait and see."

Originally, there have been plans for Brock Lesnar to take part in the Royal Rumble. However, changes were made to those plans after his name got involved in the legal matters related to Vince McMahon's trafficking lawsuit.

The mention in the lawsuit led to further setbacks in his relationship with the WWE as he was removed from WWE Creative plans for the foreseeable future and got further excluded from the latest WWE video game, WWE 2K24.
