Bengaluru, August 8: The penultimate edition of WWE Raw before the Summerslam PPV has created a major impact. A few blockbuster matches were confirmed for the dual brand PPV on the show where the crowd was at their vocal best.

Check out the results from the show that took place at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The show opened with The Miz TV. The Intercontinental champion demanded an apology from Jason Jordan for his actions during the last week's episode.

Kurt Angle came out rather than Jordan, and booked a match between Jason and Curtis Axel, later the night. Plus, he introduced Brock Lesnar as the guest on the show.

Heyman and his client walked into the arena in a thunderous manner. The Miz quickly put himself into trouble by running his mouth as the beast went on to give a previewof what's in store for Summerslam. He delivered suplexes and F-5s on each member of Miz-tourage to deliver a big statement.

Seth Rollins was defeated by Sheamus and was delivered a brutal beatdown, afterward. In another rematch, Dean Ambrose suffered the same consequence after winning a match against Cesaro. Rollins came down to make the save as we witnessed a partial shield reunion to a big reaction from the crowd.

Bayley made an appearence in the ring to address her injury to the crowd where she confirmed her inability to compete at Summerslam. It was also announced that two triple threat matches will take place tonight to determine a new number one contender replacing Bayley.

Sasha Banks won the first match against Alicia Fox and Emma by submitting the latter one. In the second match, Nia Jax defeated Dana Brooke and Mickie James via pinfall. Sasha and Nia will square off next week with the winner getting to face Alexa Bliss for the title, next week.

Finn Balor was addressing the crowd when Bray Wyatt decided to interfere and a brawl broke out with Wyatt quickly retreating from the ring.

A match was finalized between Big Cass and Big Show at Summerslam with Enzo Amore hanging from a shark cage.

In the cruiserweight division, Akira Tozawa defeated Ariya Daivari with a high-flying senton. In another bout, Jason Jordan pinned a local wrestler in an impromptu match after Curtis Axle was not medically cleared to compete.

In the main event of the night, Roman Reigns had a brutal Last Man Standing showdown against Braun Strowman.

In the closing segment we witnessed Samoa Joe interfering the match by locking in the Coquina Clutch on the Big Dog. Reigns couldn't recover from the submission and handed over the win to Braun Strowman to close the week's edition of WWE Raw.
