Edge calls out Finn Balor
Edge and Judgment Day have been at war for the better part of 2022 since they had turned their backs on The Rated-R Superstar and ousted him from the faction that he created to nurture young talents.
A week after costing Edge his United States Championship opportunity in his home country of Canada, Balor has already issued a WrestleMania challenge to the WWE Hall of Famer on the February 27 episode.
In response, Edge interrupted Balor's match against Johnny Gargano, a week later and helped the latter to pin the Judgment Day leader with the One Final Beat. Moments later, Edge also cut Balor in halves with a massive spear.
In the aftermath, The Master Manipulator informed that he will be in attendance at Raw, this week to call out The Prince. Indications are clear that we're finally getting Edge vs. Balor, possibly inside the Hell in a Cell structure.
Judgment Day vs. Johnny Gargano and Dexter Lumis
Balor will also have the additional duty of taking care of good buddies Gargano and Dexter Lumis after what transpired last week on Raw. After Edge's interference cost him the match against Gargano, Lumis also took out Damian Priest at ringside.
As a result, we will witness Gargano and Lumis' first foray into the tag team scene in the mainstay scene. They previously competed in tag matches on NXT and hence have the capability of putting a speed bump onto Judgment Day's Road to WrestleMania 39.
Elias vs. Bronson Reed
Elias' attempt to bring fellow musician Rick Boogs on the same page to form a tag team, continued on Raw. Elias told Boogs to walk up to Bronson Reed and say, "I want to face you in a match."
However, Boogs tweaked the line and mentioned Elias instead of himself. As a result, Elias got booked into a match against heavyweight Reed. It appears Elias' music rhythm won't be enough to stop the Tsunami if not Boogs comes out to help.
Brock Lesnar – Omos come face-to-face
After weeks of speculations, Brock Lesnar accepted a challenge from Omos to confirm his WrestleMania match. The match announcement came, two weeks ago with Lesnar planting Omos' manager MVP with an explosive F-5.
The following week, Omos sent a message to Lesnar by putting up a dominant display as he squashed a two-time World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler within just a few seconds.
Soon after the one-sided contest, MVP made it clear Omos is looking forward to conquering his opponent at The Grandest Stand of Them All. Now, The Nigerian Giant will come face-to-face with for the first time to possibly deliver an earth-shattering moment.
Bianca Belair vs. Chelsea Green
It's evident that WWE is building a brand new tag team in the Raw Women's Division by pairing up Carmella and Chelsea Green. However, the partnership wasn't of enough help for Mella to win her match against Raw Women's Champion Bianca Belair, last week.
Following the match, the two had the intention to beat down The EST of WWE until Asuka made the save. The Empress of Tomorrow also spray-painted Green into the face with the green mist.
Green now has the chance to get her hands on Belair in a non-title match and thereby make a name for herself with Carmella standing by her side. Can Green finally score her maiden win since coming back to WWE? We'll have to tune into Raw for the answer.
