WWE Monday Night Raw preview & schedule: August 28, 2017

New Delhi, Aug 28: One week later following the Summerslam event, WWE Raw will be moving forward to the event and set up new feuds for the next PPV, No Mercy.
We already know about a huge championship rematch will be headlining the show. Plus, the Universal Champion is also expected in a surprising capacity.
Tonight’s episode will be hosted by the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee. The show will be streaming live in India from 5.30 AM onwards on the Ten 2 Network. The repeat telecast will come to our way at 5 PM and 9 PM on the Ten 1 Network, on Tuesday (August 29).
The supposed main event match is going to be the Raw Women’s Championship match between Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss. The former champion has invoked the rematch clause to get this match against The Boss. We should keep in mind that Sasha has never defended her title successfully in the past.
Plus, Alexa Bliss is someone who is always on the favorites list of the creative heads and the fans, as well. So, we should not be surprised if a shocking title change takes place, tonight. Even if, Sasha remains the champion, it is expected that the feud is not likely to end until the next PPV, No Mercy.
Last week, the beast incarnate felt the wrath of the monster among men. We have not seen someone manhandling Lesnar on two consecutive nights like Braun Strowman did. Quite expectedly, he was granted the Universal Championship match at No Mercy. Meanwhile, we can expect the beast to make a surprise appearance to seek revenge against his opponent.
John Cena and Roman Reigns have come under the same brand, right now and they came face-to-face on the very first night when Cena returned on Raw. It will be interesting to whether they can coexist, together. Plus, it will also be cleared whether WWE is willing to pit these two against each other at No Mercy.
The Miz is supposed to get his next opponent in Samoa Joe after what transpired at the main event of WWE Raw, last week. He was not happy for not featuring in a big match at Summerslam. But, getting Samoa will certainly make him happy. Plus, Rollins and Ambrose might defend the tag titles against the former champions in a rematch.
