WWE Monday Night Raw preview and schedule: August 7, 2017

Bengaluru, August 7: Tonight's edition of WWE Raw will be the penultimate episode before we get to the Summerslam PPV. The stakes are already high considering the last set of matches for the event will be revealed on the show.
Plus, WWE will have to deal with an injury and come up with a suitable replacement for a championship match.
The crowd on tonight's show is expected to be rowdy considering WWE is headed to Canada. The episode will air from the Air Canada Centre in Ontario, Canada.
The show will be telecasted at 5.30 AM IST (August 8) on the Ten 1 Network. The repeat telecast will be aired at 4 PM IST and 9 PM IST (August 8) on the Ten 1 Network.
The Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar is being advertised for the show. This will be his first time in Canada following his devastating loss at the hands of Goldberg last November. Right now, he is really frustrated with the upcoming fatal-4-way match where he is being forced to defend his title.
Last week, he gave an ultimatum saying that if he can't defend it successfully at Summerslam then he will leave WWE. This time, he is expected to confront his three opponents at the same time to deliver a major statement to them as to why he is referred as the Conqueror.
He might make his presence felt during the Last Man Standing match announced for tonight between Reigns and Strowman in the main event.
The situation in the Raw Women's title is quite complex now that WWE has addressed Bayley's injury. The recent rumors have suggested that The Hugger can't compete at Summerslam and this might get officially announced on Raw canceling the scheduled match.
However, Sasha Banks is slated to replace Bayley. But, in order to earn her opportunity, she might have to go against Nia Jax once again to earn the contender's spot. The Boss is expected to pick up yet another win to confirm the singles title match on August 20th.
Apart from these matches, a number of matches need to be confirmed like Smackdown did, last week. In the tag team title picture, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose should be named as the contenders and get the title shot at Summerslam.
After last week's altercation, it's also a matter of time that Kurt Angle will hand his son Jason Jordan a match against The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship.
Bray Wyatt and Finn Balor's singles match should also be added to the Summerslam card now that their rivalry has been ongoing for the past three weeks. The Hardy Boyz are likely to be added to a triple threat match featuring The Revival and The Club.
