Bengaluru, December 18: Tensions are high around the WWE Raw roster with the Universal Championship scenario at stake as two monster locked horns last week which resulted in draw and brought no outcome. So, the champion, himself will have an early-coming to the show to address the fate of the title and a worthy opponent.

Also, the stage will be set in this episode for next week’s Christmas Special edition of WWE Raw. Tonight’s edition will be hosted at the Dunkin Donuts Arena in Providence, Rhode Island.

The live telecast in India is on Tuesday (December 19) at 6.30 AM on the Sony Ten 1 Network while the repeat telecast will be aired at 4 PM and 10 PM on the same network later that day.

The main question on the WWE Universe's mind right now is the abrupt return of Brock Lesnar to the flagship show at a point when he was least expected. This definitely means that there’s a big reason behind it. According to WWE.com, the General Manager is likely to make a confirm announcement for the Universal Championship,

“The Beast Incarnate is back! After a monstrous main event pitting Braun Strowman against Kane ended in a double count-out, Universal Champion Brock Lesnar does not have a challenger for the Royal Rumble event. As the WWE Universe awaits a decision by Raw General Manager Kurt Angle, The Conqueror resurfaces.”

As per speculations, we will get to learn about a triple threat championship match for the Royal Rumble PPV. Brock Lesnar is set to defend the title in a triple threat match against both Kane and Braun Strowman. It will be interesting to see whether a direct announcement will be made or another contest will be made to set up the match.

Another number one contender’s match is scheduled to take place on tonight’s WWE Raw which will decide the challenger for Enzo Amore. Cedric Alexander has received a second chance against Drew Gulak in the match after Rich Swann was taken out of the equation. Cedric is the favorite to earn an opportunity against Enzo as he is a babyface superstar.

Last week, it was the first time that the Absolution faced a combined protest by the women’s roster and were forced to back down. However, they somehow kept the momentum on their side by picking up a win at the Tribute to the Troops event. The question is will the female stars be able to keep their unity against these dominant heels?

Speculation suggests that Roman Reigns might miss this week’s show. If he shows up then it is likely that he will face a returning Miz for the IC title. Also, Woken Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt have been feuding via the tron without any physical appearances. Tonight, they might show up to have their entertaining conversations in front of the live audience.
