WWE Monday Night Raw preview and schedule: March 5, 2018

Bengaluru, March 5: The Road to Wrestlemania gets interesting with every week passing by on WWE Raw. This is the time when the big storyline angles start on WWE TV which is why the programme should not be missed. This year, the women superstars are stealing the spotlight and tonight will not be any different.

The Undefeated Streak possessed by the only female superstar in the WWE will be on the line in the main event of the night at the BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The live telecast of the show will be available via the Sony Ten 1 Network on Tuesday (March 6) from 6.30 AM onwards, while the repeat will be aired later that day via the same network at 12 PM, 4 PM and 9 PM.

Asuka won the women’s Royal Rumble event and earned the right to face the women’s champions of her choice either from Raw or Smackdown at Wrestlemania. However, the dominant force of the female Raw roster, Nia Jax has been a problem for her over the past few weeks. She was attacked by the Samoan superstar multiple times which caused this matchup on tonight’s WWE Raw.

Check out WWE.com hyping up this match with the streak being on the line,

“The 2018 Women’s Royal Rumble Match winner is focused on her Women’s Championship Match at WrestleMania, but whether Asuka will be undefeated that night in New Orleans depends greatly on what happens this Monday night in Milwaukee. Can Asuka withstand another encounter with Nia en route to The Showcase of the Immortals?”

Technically, there’s no way that the streak will be broken by someone like Nia Jax and especially at a time when Wrestlemania is on the horizon. So, Asuka is expected to win the match with authority to put Jax down for good. She might also announce her opponent for the title match, tonight as well.

The friction between Ronda Rousey and Stephanie McMahon has been quite interesting, till date. It will grow by time as we are heading closer to the Wrestlemania 34 PPV event. Last week, Kurt Angle was disrespected by Stephanie’s husband, Triple H. This was not taken well by the former UFC superstar. So, she will be waiting to cause havoc to the Authority, this week.

The situation between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar has been quite questionable after the champion skipped the face-off segment, last week. He is not scheduled to appear on this week’s WWE Raw, as well. This would be an utter disrespect to his challenger, Roman Reigns. Hopefully, we will get an official update why Lesnar has opted to stay away from WWE Raw.

Seth Rollins and Finn Balor picked up wins over The Miz to make things interesting in the Intercontinental title picture, last week. These two are now the contenders for the mid-card championship. Hence, Kurt Angle might officially give them the opportunity to have their title match at Wrestlemania via a triple threat contest.

Meanwhile, the Raw tag team champions also await challengers. After defeating the Titus Worldwide, The Revival might be their next challengers now. This team has voiced their frustration for not being given a title opportuninty on social media, lately.
