Bengaluru, February 28: Lita, the WWE Hall of Famer returned to action in the main event match of this week's Raw alongside Becky Lynch to challenge for the Raw tag team championships.

The host of WrestleMania 39 was announced on the show that also had Brock Lesnar onboard to accept a WrestleMania challenge from Omos. Also, the number-one contender for Raw Women's Championship was in action against Carmella.

Check out the recap and results from the February 27 episode of Monday Night Raw that took place at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan:

- WWE Hall of Famer Lita and Becky Lynch arrived at the arena to kick off Raw.

- Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa headed to the ring as Jimmy cut a promo on recent fallouts with his brother Jey Uso. Jimmy informed that Roman Reigns will be there on SmackDown to address things. The two were then interrupted by The Street Profits to set up the opening match of the night.

- Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa defeated The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) in the opening tag team match of the night.

Sikoa made the blind tag and saved Jimmy from an electric chair position. He then delivered the Samoan Spike to Dawkins for the pin to win.

After the match, Sikoa and Jimmy continued to beat down The Profits but Kevin Owens ran out to the ring and caught Sikoa with a kick. He then delivered a Stunner to Jimmy before leaving the ring.

- MVP had Brock Lesnar as his guest in the VIP Lounge. Lesnar accepted the WrestleMania challenge laid down by Omos and raised a toast about it. MVP found the champagne too strong and accidentally spit it on Lesnar's face. Lesnar responded with an F5 to him.

- Cody Rhodes defeated Chad Gable (with Otis) in a singles contest. After sending Otis into the barricade, Cody connected with Cody Cutter and Cross Rhodes to get the pin-fall win.

After the match, Cody informed that he will be on SmackDown to go face-to-face with Roman Reigns, this Friday night.

- In a backstage segment, Judgment Day's Dominik Mysterio informed that he will accompany Rhe Ripley for her match with Liv Morgan on SmackDown. Finn Balor then challenged Edge to a match at WrestleMania 39 since their issues aren't over.

- Asuka defeated Carmella in the next match. After a kick, Carmella rolled up Asuka but Asuka quickly locked in her arm and shoulder submission for the win. After the match, Raw Women's Champion Bianca Belair had a confrontation with Asuka.

- Candice LeRae (with Nikki Cross) defeated Piper Niven in a short match. Niven focused on taking out Cross at ringside. After coming back into the ring, Candice rolled Niven up for the pin to win.

- In a WrestleMania Hollywood edition of Miz TV, The Miz announced that he will be the host of WrestleMania 39. Seth Rollins interrupted the segment and took out Miz before taking his phone.

Via the device, Rollins face-timed Logan Paul and he picked up. Rollins invited Paul to come to Raw, next week for a face-off and it was instantly accepted. Before leaving, Rollins delivered a Carb Stomp on Miz.

- Bobby Lashley defeated Elias in a squash match in merely a minute. He speared Lashley before tapping him out with the Hurt Lock.

After the match, Lashley warned Bray Wyatt to keep his name out of his mouth. Wyatt appeared on the tron, played a video, and advised Lashley to run from him.

- Johnny Gargano defeated Otis (with Maximum Male Models - Maxxine Dupri, Ma.çé and Mån.sôör) in the next match.

Ma.çé and Mån.sôör tried to interfere in the match but Dexter Lumis appeared at ringside and chased them out of the sight. Gargano then caught Otis with a swinging DDT for the pin-fall win.

- Becky Lynch and Lita defeated DAMAGE CTRL (Dakota Kai and IYO SKY with Bayley) to become the new WWE Women's Tag Team Champions in the main event of Raw.

Bayley tried to interfere in the match multiple times which led Trish Stratus to make her return to Raw to neutralize the scene. SKY went for the Over the Moonsault, but Lita ducked it and delivered a Twist of Fate.

Lita ascended to the top for her own moonsault but Bayley tried to knock her down. Stratus leveled her with a Chick Kick.

Kai tried to interfere, as well but Lynch applied the Dis-Arm-Her submission on her allowing Lita to finally deliver the moonsault on SKY for the pin to win. The trio of Lynch, Trish, and Lita celebrated with the tag team titles to send Raw off the air.
