Oregon, Feb 7: The anticipation of last night's episode of Raw was much bigger after what transpired, last week.

We were eager to hear about Seth Rollins and his severity of the injury after the brutal assault he suffered at the hands of Samoa Joe.

Plus, a Wrestlemania challenge was laid down by the beast incarnate, Brock Lesnar which was addressed by Goldberg. The show was taped at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon.

The show kicked off with WWE addressing Seth Rollins' injury. Foley and Stephanie were standing inside the ring to sign the destroyer, Samoa Joe as the newest member of Monday Night Raw.

Roman Reigns interrupted confronting Joe and warning him that it's his yard. He got a warm reception to the crowd as Foley made the main event of the night between the two of them.

Bayley got a match with Nia Jax and was about to pick up the win until Charlotte came out to create the distraction.

Nia capitalized with a Samoan drop to pick up the win. We will get a title match between Bayle and Charlotte, next week.

Braun Strowman competed in a handicap match to squash his 4 opponents in the ring. After the match, he went straight to Foley asking for real competition. The Raw GM then made a match between him and Reigns at WWE Fastlane.

Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho were standing inside the ring when Jericho asked Owens for granting him a match at Wrestlemania for the Universal title.

Owens became furious with this but got interrupted with a returning Goldberg. The Myth went straight to accept Brock Lesnar's challenge at Wrestlemania.

But, first, he wanted Owens for the title at Fastlane. Jericho accepted it on his friend's behalf.

A United States title match took place between Jericho and Sami Zayn. Owens was standing at the ringside to provide the distraction.

He hit Zayn with a super-kick when the referee was not seeing allowing Jericho to connect with the code-breaker to retain the title.

Gallows & Anderson defended their title via disqualification against Sheamus and Cesaro after Enzo and Cass involved into the action.

There were a couple of matches from the Cruiserweight division with zero reaction from the crowd.

In the main event of the night, reigns faced Samoa Joe but before that, the destroyer attacked Reigns from behind. A wounded Reigns competed in the match, somehow.

But, Strowman interrupted to distract Reigns allowing Joe to pick up the win. The mountain among men then delivered a brutal assault to Reigns to close the show.
