WWE Monday Night Raw results with video highlights: February 26, 2018

Bengaluru, February 27: With the completion of Elimination Chamber the storylines for this year's Wrestlemania season kicked off last night on WWE Monday Night Raw with fallouts from the bygone PPV event.

Plus, we expected the Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar to return to the WWE after a month's break to start the story line for his title on the show hosted by the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

Here are the results from the show:

Alexa Bliss opened last night's WWE Raw with her new ally, Mickie James. She gloated about her history making victory at the Elimination Chamber PPV. Now, she will have to face a challenger in Asuka, who came out to confront Bliss.

Later, Nia Jax, Bayley and Sasha Banks also came out to create a chaos in the ring. Bliss and Jax stood tall toppling down everybody to end the segment.

After this, a tag team match was sanctioned between the team of Alexa Bliss, Nia Jax, and Mickie James vs. the team of Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Asuka. Bayley shocked Sasha Banks after she refused to be tagged into the match. Later, Bayley pulled off Bliss from the apron allowing Asuka to lock in the arm-bar on Mickie James for which she tapped out.



Later on the show, John Cena came out to talk about not being involved in a Wrestlemania match for the first time in his 15 year career at the WWE. Interestingly, he challenged The Undertaker for a match, but, the officials told him this match was impossible. So, he chose to go to Smackdown Live to create his own path to the biggest event of the year.

Later, Roman Reigns as well cut a promo about Wrestlemania with his Wrestlemania opponent, Brock Lesnar not present on the show to face him.

Later, The Miz came down to the ring with his pals to cut a strong promo about being the greatest Intercontinental Champion in history. In need of an opponent at Wrestlemania, he issued an open challenge to which Seth Rollins responded and went on to have a match. After a tremendous encounter, Rollins pinned the champion by hitting a frog splash off the top rope.





Next, Finn Balor came down to the ring to challenge The Miz. A match began which was disqualified with constant inerference from The Miztourage. The Miz wanted to get away with it but Kurt Angle restarted the match, with the Miztourage being banned from ringside. Balor hit a Slingblade and followed it up with a Coup De Grace for the win.





Next up in the tag team title scene, The Bar retained their belts in a 2-out-of-3 falls match against Titus Worldwide.

Later, Bray Wyatt attacked Heath Slater and Rhyno inside the ring before issuing a challenge to Woken Matt Hardy.

Next on the show was the scheduled singles match between Elias and Braun Strowman, which never happened as a brawl broke out before the contest could even start. Elias ran out of the show riding a limo after raking the eyes of Strowman and blind-siding him using a fire extinguisher.

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon appeared in the main event segment of WWE Raw to settle matters with Ronda Rousey. The former UFC superstar wanted an apology for what Stephanie did to her at Elimination Chamber. The Raw commissioner did say sorry but right after that Triple H hit Kurt Angle. Thereafter, the authority figures walked out of the ring to close the show.
