Bengaluru, August 1: An earth-shattering contest took place in the main event of WWE Raw, as announced last week during the show.
It was a ruckus as the three contenders shared the same ring in the triple threat match. Plus, a couple of new rivalries kicked off in order to culminate at Summerslam.

Here are the results from this week's Raw hosted by the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania:
WWE Raw open with Kurt Angle returning to his hometown of Pittsburgh. As he was addressing the crowd, Brock Lesnar interrupted him with Paul Heyman.
They were not happy with Angle's decision of making a fatal-4-way match for the title. But, Heyman cut a strong promo about how Lesnar will retain at Summerslam to end the opening segment.
The three contenders for the Universal title squared off in a triple threat match in a No DQ contest. Reigns gained the upper hand by putting down Strowman with a superman punch outside the ring. He then hit Samoa Joe with a spear to pick up the win.
Bray Wyatt made an appearance on WWE Raw to address his ongoing rivalry with Finn Balor. During his entry, Balor appeared out of nowhere to seek redemption against Wyatt. He connected with some of his pendant moves before shoving him off the ring with a dropkick.
Elias defeated Kalisto in an impromptu match up via a rolling cutter. In the Cruiserweight division, the new team of Akira, Swann and Cedric picked up the win in a tag team contest.
Cass continued his assaults on Show and Enzo after the match. Enzo was put down with a big boot but Show managed to knock Cass out with a punch to close this week's Raw.
