WWE Monday Night Raw results with video highlights: March 27

Pennsylvania, March 27: This was the last edition of Monday Night Raw before the biggest night of the year, this Sunday, April 2.

The atmosphere was electric as we kicked off the Wrestlemania week in style. The crowd was raucous at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania even before the start of the show. Here's what went down on the night.

Bayley kicked off the night to address her first appearance at Wrestlemania and that too as the women's champion.

She got interrupted by Charlotte, Sasha Banks, and Nia Jax, respectively. An all-out brawl broke out in the ring at the end of the segment.

A tag team contest took place, thereafter as Charlotte and Nia teams up against Bayley and Sasha. The babyfaces picked up the win after the champion connected with the Bayley-to-belly to Charlotte. Following the match, Nia viciously attacked her three opponents to stand tall inside the ring.

Two big Cruiserweight matches took place. Austin Aries defeated Noam Dar to gain momentum before Wrestlemania.

On the other hand, the champion, Neville defeated Jack Gallagher via submission in an exciting contest.

Seth Rollins and Triple H had a segment as announced, last week in which Rollins signed the contract to get a match against his former mentor at Wrestlemania.

After the signing was over, The Game attacked Rollins in the injured leg but he managed to shove off Triple H by the help of the crutch. The Architect could barely stand, following the segment.

An over-the-top rope contest was held to give a preview of the upcoming battle royal. A staredown took place as Braun Strowman came out to confront Big Show. However, he decided to back out to leave the fight for another day.



Roman Reigns came out to cut a promo about his Wrestlemania match. The Undertaker interrupted him.

A vignette was shown with Taker digging holes to bury Reigns at Mania. Taker darkens the arena by spreading his hands before vanishing again.

A segment was held around the competitors of the Raw tag team title match. The champions stood tall to gain momentum.

A match took place between Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens with Zayn's career on the line. Samoa Joe interrupted to give the upper-hand to Owens.

But, Jericho neutralised him by attacking from behind. The distraction allowed Zayn to pick up the win via a roll-up.

Brock Lesnar appeared in the ring with his advocate Paul Heyman who cut a promo for the Wrestlemania match.

Goldberg interrupted soon to meet his opponent inside the ring. He was able to deliver a spear on Lesnar to put him down. Goldberg celebrated with the title to end the show.
