WWE Monday Night Raw results with video highlights: September 11, 2017

Bengaluru, September 12: With just two weeks away from the No Mercy PPV, as expected we witnessed another destruction at the hands of Braun Strowman on WWE Monday Night Raw. Plus, a big feud between Reigns and Cena was also pushed to the limit.

Here’s what transpired on the flagship show of WWE hosted from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

The show opened with WWE paying tribute to the 9/11 tragedy that took thousands of lives, 16 years ago. Roman Reigns kicked things off on live TV as he was scheduled to take on Jason Jordan. The son of Raw General Manager was able to deliver yet another classic match against the face of the company.

In the end, Reigns connected with his finisher, the Superman Punch and followed it with a spear to pick up the victory. His celebration was cut short as John Cena interrupted him. The pair had yet another fired up promo segment before they left the ring.



Sasha Banks locked horns with Emma in a singles match with Nia Jax and Alexa Bliss present at ringside. The Boss picked up the win by locking in the Bank Statement on Emma. Kurt Angle later announced that Nia will face Alexa in a match next week on Raw. Plus, Asuka's arrival on Raw was also teased.





Brock Lesnar appeared on Raw with Paul Heyman by his side who came to promote the No Mercy PPV. Braun Strowman interfered to attack the champion and Lesnar tried to counter attack with a German suplex but Strowman was right on his feet the very next moment. He then knocked out Lesnar with a running power slam.



John Cena had a scheduled matchup against the monster among men on the night's episode. For the better part of the match, Strowman punished Cena brutally. The finish witnessed a DQ-result after the WWE Championship contender hit Cena with the steel steps.





Elias Samson had a singles match against Kalisto that got no reaction whatsoever. Elias picked up a quick win.

Bray Wyatt defeated Goldust in a singles match. Aftermath, he tried to ambush him but Finn Balor interrupted and made Wyatt evade the scene.

We had a Miz TV show where the host gave the good news that he and his wife were expecting a baby. The personal moment got cut short by Enzo Amore that led to a heated confrontation between the two of them.

This alteracation, in turn, set up a singles contest between the two. The Miztourage attacked Enzo during the match to disqualify the match.

In the main event, an 8-man tag team match took place. Rollins-Ambrose teamed up with the Hardy Boyz to take on the team of Gallows-Anderson & Sheamus-Cesaro. Hadyz connected with a couple of Twist of Fates following Ambrose with a Dirty Deeds to pick up the win. Their celebration concluded this week's edition of WWE Raw.
