WWE Money in the Bank 2024 Results, Recap & Highlights

The 2024 WWE Money in the Bank premium live event took place at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada crowning these year's Men's and Women's division MITB contract winners which guarantees future title match opportunities.

Two championships, one from Raw and one from SmackDown were defended on the show. A chaotic tag team match went down while a legend returned to drop some bad news for the WWE Universe. Check out the recap and results of Money in the Bank 2024 PLE:

- Drew McIntyre defeated Jey Uso, LA Knight, Carmelo Hayes, Andrade, and Chad Gable to win the 2024 Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match. The finishing sequence saw Gable getting close but Jey stopped and speared him.

Jey came close to grabbing the briefcase, but McIntyre stopped him by throwing a ladder in the face. With Jey out of commission, McIntyre climbed through the ladder and grabbed the briefcase for the win.

- Sami Zayn (c) defeated Bron Breakker to retain his WWE Intercontinental Championship. Zayn intercepted a spear attempt by Breakker with a kick in the head before pinning Breakker with a Helluva Kick.

- WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus brought out John Cena to the audience. Cena announced a sort of retirement tour going through Royal Rumble 2025, and Elimination Chamber 2025. WrestleMania 41 will be the last WrestleMania that he will compete in.

- Damien Priest (c) defeated Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre to retain his WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Originally scheduled to be a Priest vs. Rollins matchup, McIntyre cashed in his MITB contract to make the match a triple threat.

CM Punk interfered and beat down McIntyre with a Steel Chair, taking advantage of the No-DQ rules. Punk hit McIntyre in the head with the World Title as Priest hit the Chokeslam on McIntyre for the pin-fall win.

- Tiffany Stratton defeated IYO SKY, Chelsea Green, Lyra Valkyria, Naomi, and Zoey Stark to win the 2024 Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Green was the crowd favorite to win in front of her hometown audience.

Green also had the briefcase in her grasp until Stratton pushed her ladder over and she fell through two tables that were set up on the outside. Stratton ultimately unhooked and grabbed the Money in the Bank briefcase to win the match.

- In the main event of Money in the Bank 204 PLE, The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and Tama Tonga) defeated Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens. An insane brawl broke out during the match and the referee was knocked out multiple times.

In the end, Jacob Fatu saved Solo from getting pinned by Cody. Jacob laid out Cody with his finisher and held him up so that Solo could hit him with the Samoan Spike for the pin-fall win. Here is a look at the final results of the PLE:

• Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Drew McIntyre defeated Andrade, Carmelo Hayes, Chad Gable, Jey Uso, and LA Knight by retrieving the briefcase
• Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Tiffany Stratton defeated Chelsea Green, Iyo Sky, Lyra Valkyria, Naomi, and Zoey Stark by retrieving the briefcase
• Six-Man Tag Team Match: The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and Tama Tonga) (with Tonga Loa) defeated Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens, and Randy Orton by pinfall
• Intercontinental Championship Match: Sami Zayn (c) defeated Bron Breakker by pinfall
