The current NXT Champion Ethan Page will go through his first title defense at the WWE NXT Great American Bash 2024 edition Night Two, set for two weeks from now against Oro Mensah.
After getting upstaged by Mensah, last week, Page was out to blast him on this week's NXT verbally. Mensah came out and pinned the champion (not in a match) after which the champion himself demanded a title match against Mensah at Bash.

NXT General Manager Ava quickly approved the match for night two of the NXT Great American Bash alongside a contract signing segment for the duo over the title bout set for next week's night one.
The Night One of NXT Bash will see three championship matches and TNA wrestler Joe Hendry's musical performance, next week. NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez will defend her title against Thea Hail as confirmed on last week's NXT episode.
NXT Heritage Cup Champion Tony D'Angelo will also put his prize on the line on Bash Night One against Tavion Heights of the No Quarter Catch Crew which was the second title bout to be made official for Bash.
Meta-Four's Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson defeated Sol Ruca and Karmen Petrovic in a tag team match on this week's NXT and proceeded to challenge WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn.
The women's tag title match was thereby announced for the next NXT episode which marks the first time that the current champions will defend on WWE's third brand since winning the belts at Clash at the Castle premium live event on June 15.
The 2024 WWE Great American Bash will be spanned across two weekly episodes of NXT programming, July 30 and August 6. Both these episodes will be airing on SYFY instead of USA Network due to Olympic coverage. Confirmed matches for the events are given below:
