The next themed episode from the WWE NXT brand has been announced in the form of 2024 Great American Bash which makes this event an annual show in the calendar. However, this year, it has been moved a month later.
During last night's Heatwave premium live event in Toronto, it was announced that the 2024 Great American Bash would take place on the August 6 edition of NXT at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

This particular episode will also air on a different network, Syfy, as opposed to NXT's current host platform, USA Network. This will be the fifth year in a row that NXT will hold a Great American Bash event.
The 2023 show under this chronology was a premium live event that was streamed on Peacock/WWE Network from Cedar Park, Texas. That night was headlined by Carmelo Hayes defeating Ilja Dragunov to retain the NXT Championship.
In other big matches from last year's Great American Bash, Tiffany Stratton defeated Thea Hail to retain the NXT Women's Championship while Dominik Mysterio retained the North American title by defeating Wes Lee and Mustafa Ali in a triple threat.
New matches for the latest coming episode of NXT have also been announced in one of which the Heritage Cup will be on the line. Lexis King posted a video on social media and called out Tony D'Angelo for a match.
The Heritage Cup trophy holder then gave his response to King and asked the NXT General Manager Ava to set up this match for this coming Tuesday. The match was then officially announced during Heatwave.
At the bygone PLE, Karmen Petrovic & Arianna Grace were successful in defeating Jacy Jayne & Jazmyn Nyx on the pre-show in their hometown of Toronto. But after the match, the two ended up arguing about who the better wrestler was.
Ava witnessed the argument and responded by announcing a singles contest between the two for this Tuesday. Multiple other matches were already announced for the July 9 episode of NXT and they are given below:
